About Eira: 

I started skating in Nov 2018, I got my first pair of roller skates after watching a YouTube skate video, and I thought hey that looks like so much fun! At the time I had been struggling with a lot of mental health issues, and I was looking for an outlet that got me outside in the fresh air, sunshine, and ultimately made me feel happy. Skating literally set me free, it was an escape and it soon became my happiness and a general positive aspect of my life. Skating has given me confidence, joy, friends, and freedom, and I've never looked back since.
