Rolling with CIB since: 2020 🎉
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Chapter: CIB Czech Republic
After my tries with a skateboard and freeride longboard I started rollerskating when I was 17. My father is an old school snow/skate-boarder and he is enthusiastic about skate history in Czechoslovakia. That´s why he built two pairs of rollerskates and with my sister Anna, we started to shred mini ramps. We didn't know anything about roller derby or ramp skating, so we intuitively learned the basics from Oasis videos of Fred Blood and Duke Rennie, and Czechoslovakian old school riders (Ivan "Zobák" Pelikán, Tomas "Mad’ar" Zíma, Peter Walek), until we found out about CIB project. Since the start, I prefer ramp and bowl skating and my favorite tricks are mostly airs. In 2018 we accidentally met girls from CIB Czech Republic and since that we started skating together. As a chapter, we made our first meetup in August that year. This year we managed "Prague Summer with Chicks In Bowls" which was a run of meetups in our capital (with guests like Staceyskates, Wednesdayshreds, Doom). Thanks to our friend Kamila (who organizes all of this <3) we are in close touch with CIB Poland as well. I´m really glad for these because meetups are pushing me so much! For me, the CIB crew means community opened for everyone. I love to skate with my local crew as well as I´m always happy to meet new faces from all over the world. I appreciate the opportunity to share the same enthusiasm and passion we have in common.
